Director's Message

National awardee, Dr. Jyoti Gupta, Director Principal, The Shri Ram Universal School Ghaziabad, is an eminent educationist and has gained a prominent position in the educational arena due to her exemplary work. She embarked on her professional voyage nearly 33 years ago propelling the schools she headed par excellence. She has been awarded with numerous prestigious awards both nationally and internationally. In 2018, the MHRD and CBSE reposed their trust in Dr. Gupta as an educationalist by appointing her as the Member of the Governing Body of CBSE.She has also been appointed as a member of the first Standing Committee on Academics in NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education).In tandem with her philosophy of creating leaders, she has trained Principals and teachers by taking empowerment conferences around the country. Her passion for excellence and all-encompassing vision has imbued the students and teachers.

Her global exposure has been pivotal in forging partnerships through organizing various exchange programmes with world-renowned institutions in various countries. Under her able guidance, school has produced country topper.

She received the National Teachers Award 2012 of the Government of India, Delhi State Award by Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Best Principal Award Ghaziabad District 2017, Dr. Radha Krishnan National Award for Teachers 2011 and The Global Human Rights Protection Award. Dr. Gupta was also felicitated by the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for consecutively producing academic toppers and excellent board results. A CBSE master trainer she currently serves as a nominated member on the governing body of CBSE and chairperson of CBSE Sahodya, Ghaziabad Chapter.

She received appreciation by the Australian Government for supporting Australia-India school engagement. She had been a part of The Excellence in Education Awards 2022 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Government of Mauritius held in Mauritius.

She is recognised and awarded for the ‘best holistic development of the children ‘ by The Hon’ble President of The Republic of Mauritius. Her vision is to establish an institution of academic distinction and innovation and make it a place where cutting-edge educational techniques are combined with a strong emphasis on holistic development.
